The children had an opportunity to do Aerial Trekking, Powerfan, Archery and Canoeing. The activities reinforced determination and teamwork. Archery as a sunnah sport was challenging for the children but enjoyed immensely. They had to have a good eye and a steady hand to try and aim on the Olympic style archery targets. Most popular activity was Canoeing, which offered a combination of excitement, adventure and good old fashioned teamwork. They paddled up the river, played some paddle games and learnt some new skills. The last activity was the most challenging, children had to complete a whole circuit of obstacles in the air which surely tested their nerves!
Throughout the day children positively represented the school and demonstrated our school’s core value FRIEND. Staff and children returned home exhausted but full of happy memories to cherish forever.
