Throughout the summer term, the students have had weekly outdoor sessions, where they have learnt what pollinators are, their habitats, how they fit into the wider environment and also how pollinators help plants to pollinate. Within these sessions, students have had plenty of hands-on activities to develop their learning. Students also went for a walk around the School and Masjid grounds, where they were looking for wildflowers – which they learnt are really important for a pollinators diet! Students will be continuing the project into Year 5, and they cannot wait for more Eco fun.
