Children were introduced to the Book Week competition for this year: to create an inspiring mural all about reading with the theme of ‘Beauty within words’. Over the next few days our children eagerly participated in various activities during their live lessons, from a ‘Guess the teacher reading behind a book’ to an exciting quiz where children guessed the authors of well-known books. This was followed by the ‘Eco-friendly dress-up day’, where children created costumes of their favourite characters using only recycled materials. We ended book week by winding down in our Pyjamas and a hot chocolate for our usual ‘PJ’s and hot choc day’ (virtually this time!), a lovely relaxing treat after a busy week!
