Anti-bullying Alliance 2022/2023

Land of Learning Nursery and Primary School is taking part in the United Against Bullying anti bullying programme provided by the Anti -Bullying Alliance (ABA). ABA is part of the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) and works to reduce bullying in schools. 

 The pupils from KS2 were given the opportunity to put themselves forward as a candidate to become our school’s student councillors-Anti-bullying Ambassadors. The children prepared a manifesto and encouraged their class members to vote for them, like a real election.  

The elected pupils worked together to launch this year’s anti-bullying week with the theme ‘Reach Out’. 

 “As the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, we helped to prepare the classes for anti-bullying week. We looked at different activities which we felt would help the classes understand and learn about bullying. 

 We had a competition to design a Land of Learning anti-Bullying poster. 

 We reminded the teachers and children about who our trusted adults are, in school and at home.  

 As Anti-Bullying Ambassadors we also asked all the classes to make an anti-bullying pledge. We then took parts from all the class pledges to make one Land of Learning Anti-Bullying Pledge.
