Experiencing Art

We organised an inspirational trip to Leicester University Botanical Gardens. We also held age appropriate workshops throughout the week with a local artist and an expert calligrapher. The mastery mosaic project competition showcased the excellent range of aesthetically pleasing artistic talents we have.

Students experimented and worked with a variety of materials including air drying clay, colours, crayons, graphite pencils, calligraphy pens and many more! The week buzzed with excitement, curiosity and eagerness and we hope to have inspired the next generation of Islamic artists and demonstrated the beauty around us.
